2024 Summer Camp Nursing Opportunity

Dear Camp Families,

I hope this email finds you well and filled with excitement for the upcoming camp season! As we prepare for another summer of adventure, learning, and fun, we are reaching out to our wonderful camp community with an important request.

As you know, the health and safety of our campers are our top priorities. To ensure we continue providing excellent medical care, we are actively seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Nurses or EMTs in our camp health center.

Weeks available: 
Session 1 (June 1st-June 8th): 1 Spot available
Session 5 (June 29th-July 6th): 2 Spots available
Session 9 (July 27th-August 3rd): 1 Spot available

All Health Center Employees receive a guaranteed spot for their camper (up to two campers) and 75% off camper tuition for one week of camp. 

If you or someone you know holds a certification as a Nurse (RN, LPN, NP or EMT) and would be interested in spending a week this summer on the vibrant shores of Lake Burton, while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children, we would love to hear from you! 

Responsibilities would include providing basic medical care, administering medications, assessing and treating minor injuries and illnesses, and collaborating with our camp leadership team to uphold our high standards of health and safety.

Working in our camp health center offers a unique opportunity to be part of a supportive community, gain valuable experience, and create lasting memories.
