  • Amy Roark NASN State Director in DC

Our sweet Amy Roark, NASN State Director for GA, was representing our School Nurses in D.C. this week. She had a face to face opportunity with one of our congressman to talk about GA School Nurses and NASN's legislative priorities. She did not get a chance to meet with Senator Warnock, however had a great talk with his Health Policy staffer on school mental health and how school nurses play a critical role in schools as a mental health resource.

Thank you Amy for being the VOICE  for GA SCHOOL NURSES!

Our very own Lynne Meadows, Director of Health Services for Fulton County Schools, has received the highest honor that may be bestowed on a school nurse by NASN. She was inducted this past week Fellow of School Nursing. This award is VERY well deserved for one of our GA state nurse leaders. We are sooo incredibly proud! Congratulations Lynne Meadows!
